A Dive specialty is a subset in diving that can help divers develop valuable skills. Specialties enable divers to make a positive difference on every dive. These divers are often skilled in one area or a particular type of equipment. Enriched Air Nitrox EANx, Deep Scuba Diving, and Boat Diving are some examples of these specialties. You can learn more about these diving specialty below.

Enriched Air Nitrox

If you want to learn more about the advantages of enriched air, consider becoming a certified PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver. The specialty course includes independent study, practical exercises, and two optional nitrox dives. The course is designed to be completed online or offline, and you can complete it on your own time, regardless of where you plan on diving. A scuba tank with special oxygen service standards is required to complete this specialization.

Underwater Photography

Scuba diving is an excellent way to improve your skills and knowledge if you love taking photos. Unterwasser photography is one of the many diving specialty. This course will teach you the fundamental principles and techniques of underwater photography. You'll also learn about underwater lighting and composition. Boat Diving

PADI Boat Diver Specialty Courses are for anyone who is just starting to dive or wants to learn more about boat diving. You will learn about different types of dive boats and proper etiquette. Also, you will be taught how to properly pack your gear and enter and exit the boat. Also, the course covers boat safety and handling emergencies while on water.

Deep Scuba

There are several Deep Scuba diving specialties. Advanced Diver certification is for certified divers. They can also go deeper. Deep Scuba divers need knowledge about the effects of pressure, breathing, and diving. As their body functions and systems get more exposed at deeper depths, deep-scuba divers will need to be aware of how they breathe and what it means for them. A safe deep dive should be planned and executed. Some specialties require additional training. There are a few prerequisites that you must meet to become certified.

Scuba diving requires navigation skills. Scuba divers need to be able to navigate underwater, regardless of whether they are trying to find an object or dive to a beautiful coral reef. Navigation is essential for scuba divers. It is also important to know how to properly use the compass.
