scuba shop

When planning a dive trip, it's important to choose an operator that suits your needs. Ask for information about the group size and whether a diving guide is available. You may also request a private tour guide to meet your needs. Operators may separate groups according to their expertise. If you have any special requirements, let the operator know in advance. In many cases, operators will separate groups according to type, so that only those divers who have the most advanced skills will be paired up with the ones who are more experienced.

Tip guidelines

Tip a dive store for providing excellent service. Don't tip for bad service. It only encourages them to continue giving you mediocre service. The dive shop owner should discuss the tipping policy. Below are some guidelines for tipping staff in dive shops. You can find more details on how to properly tip the dive shop staff in your local area. Do not be afraid to give a tip to your local dive shop employees.

Liveaboards

If you're looking for a unique experience, consider liveaboards for dive trips. Many liveaboards are led by world-class divers. You will have the chance to visit remote dive sites before any other divers. A wide range of marine life will also be available to you. You can also explore new underwater territory by liveaboard diving. Liveaboards also include gear rental, so you don't need to worry about carrying your own equipment.

Diving safaris

Dive safaris are for the more adventurous. You can do up to four dives per day, instead of having to rush through them. Additionally, all meals are included with the safari price. This will save you the time and hassle of ordering take-out every day. There is no need for diving equipment to be set up each day. All you need is one, upon arrival.

Day trips

A few day trips in Bali can be a good option for people who enjoy diving but don’t have the time. The Gilis can be described as small islands in Bahasa. While the Gilis of Bali make it easy for beginners, advanced divers will find Padang Bai to be a great place to dive. These trips include spectacular macro diving, shark caves and turtles. You can also take a relaxed dive at Padang Bai Reef for beginners.

Red Sea diving

Divers can dive in the Red Sea to view one of the most iconic wrecks on the planet, and even have a close encounter. Some diving destinations are well-known while others are less so. Divers can tour a WWII submarine while exploring the Jolanda wreck. The wreck, which is part of an area on the ocean floor is heavily encrusted. All levels of divers can visit the wreck. For more pristine dive sites, choose a liveaboard and dive before the day trip boats arrive.
