Bob Hollis

Bob Hollis is a pioneer of scuba diving, a legend in the area and a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In the late 1950s, Hollis started scuba diving and began to take up underwater photography. This new hobby required specialized equipment. Hollis' engineering education led him to create his own housings and accessories for underwater cameras. Hollis founded Anchor Shack, an underwater camera shop in Hayward, California, in 1965. He started receiving mail orders soon for his housings.

Recalled dive computers

Divers could drown from the Hollis Scuba recalled dive computers. The defective air flow control system on the recalled dive computer could cause a diver to lose control of his breathing underwater. The dive computers were sold for $1200 between November 2010 & July 2012. For repairs, the units can be returned either to the manufacturer or to a dealer.
