An introductory course is the best way to learn if you are interested in diving, but don't know where to start. Also known as a buceo (or baptism of water), this course is a great choice for those with little or no experience and those who are short on time. While you can dive up to 12m, you will need a certified instructor to complete the course. You can also upgrade to Advanced openwater or Rescue certification if you take any more classes.
PADI Scuba Diver
There are many PADI Scuba Diver levels. The introductory course can be taken by those just starting out and they can then move up to the next level after they have reached certain competency levels. PADI Scuba Diver courses are made up of 14 modules that can be broken down into three sections. Although the course is usually three days long, you can upgrade it in as little as one and a half days. This course is very popular and allows you to dive up to 18 metres.

Advanced open-water diver
Open water divers who have completed the Open Water Diver Course have an AOW certification. AOW divers are able to dive at deeper depths than the recommended 60 feet. They can also improve their buoyancy and air consumption. Advanced open water divers can also do specialty dives such as wreck diving. There are many levels to an AOW certificate. Below are the differences between the levels. For more information about these levels, please read on!
Rescue diver
There are three levels to your Rescue Diver certificate: the technical, recreational, and the dive leader. International Standards Organisations (ISO) set the standards for these levels. These levels are based on BS EN 140433-2:2004 and ISO 24801-1-2004. Instructors who are level-one can instruct recreational divers and assess their knowledge to the level of a diver. They also have the ability to plan and conduct dives. They are also certified to instruct rescue and lead other divers in open sea.
Cave-1 class
A cave diver certification program involves a minimum of 40 hours of academic instruction and experience. Course content includes cave diving techniques and skills, standard procedures and emergency procedures, and information on the hazards and challenges of the environment. Students are tested during the cave course. It has two parts: academics, and water-based exercises. Students must also pass a quiz and take an exam to prove their proficiency. The course requires the student to complete a cave dive course manual.

Master Scuba Diver
Master Scuba Diver certification comes in five levels. The first level is the Open Water dive, which is where you learn how to dive, and manage yourself and your scuba gear. You can choose electives from the next two levels. Master Scuba Divers have the option to dive alongside other divers, provided they are also certified. This level offers a 10% discount on five courses.
