Half Moon Caye Wall
Many types of marine life can be found at this spectacular dive spot. Recently, it was discovered that the wall is also home for sharks. They have now named it their new home. Look out for sea fans and brain coral while you're at the wall. One or two turtles might be visible. If you are feeling adventurous, you might also want to explore the tunnels under coral outcrops.
Yongala
There are several options for diving the SS Yongala. Townsville is just 3 hours away via fast boat. Advanced certified divers will enjoy the dives at 30m depth. If you can afford to spend a few more dollars, consider taking a day trip and diving the SS Yongala on a day trip. The trip takes about three hours total and includes two tanks.
Punta Vicente Roca
Punta VicenteRoca dive site is unique in that it is 200km from the closest inhabited island. Divers can view many types of sea animals, including the Galapagos red-lipped batfish and the schooling black-striped salesma.
